Outline (Programme Description)
The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) Start-Up Programme, USHUS, is a flagship initiative with an initial corpus of ₹50 crore aimed at fostering innovation in the maritime sector. It offers funding through seed funds (up to ₹50 lakh), pilot grants (up to ₹1 crore), and equity investments. So far, CSL has successfully supported eight startups, including M/s NyQuest Innovation Labs Pvt Ltd, M/s Pelican Thermogenics Pvt Ltd, and M/s Xalten Systems Pvt Ltd. The programme focuses on advancing sustainable and cutting-edge technologies in shipbuilding and marine innovation. It underscores CSL’s commitment to empowering entrepreneurs and contributing to India’s maritime and technological growth.
